About The Sessions
November Study Series Join us for our November study series on the book Juhūd al-Muʿāṣirīn fī Khidmat al-Sunnah — a detailed exploration of how contemporary scholars and institutions continue to serve and preserve the Sunnah in our time. In this series, we will discuss: What is the concept of khidmah al-Sunnah and what does it entail? Who are some of the contemporary scholars of ḥadīth across different regions? How is the Sunnah being served through faculties, universities, and publishing houses? What are some of the main publishing houses operating today? What is taḥqīq, how is it done, and what are the conditions of a muḥaqqiq? Common objections and suggestions to improve the way the Sunnah is being served. …and many other topics. Often, we study the sciences of ḥadīth in depth — but there’s little time in the classroom to learn about the science around the science: its current projects, scholars, faculties, and efforts worldwide. This book beautifully fills that gap. Students of Islamic knowledge — especially those studying ḥadīth — are highly encouraged to join.
