The scholars listed below serve as advisors to the Institute and are individuals we consult for guidance, support, and general oversight. Their presence on this list does not imply that they have reviewed or endorsed every article, legal verdict, or public statement issued by the Institute.
Mufti Mohammed Tosir Miah
Darul Ifta Birmingham
He graduated from Darul Uloom, Bury as a qualified Hafidh, Alim and Mufti under the guidance of Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Yousuf Motala Sahib in addition to having the honour of being taught by leading UK Scholars like Hazrat Shaykh Moulana Hashim Sahib, Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Mufti Shabir Sahib, Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Abdul Raheem Sahib, Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Bilal Sahib, Shaykh Hazrat Mufti Tahir Wadee Sahib and Shaykh Hazrat Moulana Naushaad Sahib. He is practically and theoretically conversant and knowledgeable in the field of Islamic studies and theology. He has graduated from Birmingham City University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in LLB Law. He has completed a Dissertation on Islamic Inheritance Law in Theology and in Practice.
Shaykh Zeeshan Chaudri
Imam Zakariya Academy
He began his formal Islamic studies at the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury, enrolling in the ʿĀlimiyyah programme, before completing his training at Imam Zakariya Academy, London. He subsequently obtained an MA in Islamic Studies from the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, followed by a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He currently teaches in the ʿĀlimiyyah programmes at Imam Zakariya Academy and Rawḍa, and serves as a teacher in the Advanced Ḥadīth and Tafsīr programmes at the Whitethread Institute. In addition, he is a researcher with the National Waqf Fund (NWF). An avid reader, he is the founding scholar and principal contributor to the Islamic Book Reviews Podcast, which has produced over fifteen episodes to date, critically reviewing more than forty works across disciplines such as Ḥadīth, ʿAqīdah, Islamic history, biography, and related fields.

Our Teachers
Ustadh Mohammed Nadat
Ustadh Mohammed holds a BA in Arabic and International Relations from the University of Westminster and an MA in History from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). He has completed his ʿĀlimīyya studies at Imam Zakariya Academy in London and has a strong commitment to the sciences of hadith. Currently, Ustadh Mohammed is actively engaged in serving his local community.
Ustadha Sarah Salih
Ustadha Sarah Salih began her formal pursuit of sacred knowledge at 16 when she traveled to the US to study at the Qalam Seminary. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Queen Mary University, an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from UCL, and a Diploma in Counselling Skills. Alongside her academic pursuits, she completed her ʿĀlimīyya studies, memorised the Qur'an, and is now pursuing postgraduate studies in Hadith and Fiqh at Whitethread Institute and an MA in Islamic Studies from Chicago Theological Seminary. Her passion for Islamic scholarship and community building has inspired her to create meaningful spaces for communal and individual growth. At 18, she founded CONSCIOUS, a thriving socio-spiritual space for women offering free weekly classes on Tafsir and Sirah, along with regular social events throughout the year. She also runs RAWASI, a mentoring service addressing mental health through an Islamic lens via one-to-one and group mentoring, resources, and workshops.
Ustadha Siddiqa Saidzada
Founder
Siddiqa Saidzada graduated from the ʿĀlimiyyah programme at Khairul Ummah Academy in 2017 and completed her ḥifẓ thereafter. She went on to specialise in Fatwā at Darul Ilm Birmingham (2020) and pursued postgraduate studies in Ḥadīth and Fiqh at Whitethread Institute (2023–2025). Her engagement with ḥadīth began in 2019, when she studied key texts with different scholars in the field. In 2023, she also completed Basira Education’s Why Islam is True programme, training in theological engagement with faith-related doubts.
